Welcome to Bridge Street Cafe & Inn

Elegant, earthy dining and accomodations...

The Bridge Street Cafe & Inn is located in a restored 1920's building on the main street of the historic Town of Hot Springs, Madison County, North Carolina. This small mountain community, nestled amid the peaks of the Pisgah National Forest, is only 45 minutes from Asheville and about 90 minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. Hot Springs, a resort destination since the early 1800's, has long been renowned for its healing mineral springs and serene mountain setting. The elegant and imposing Mountain Park Hotel once stood on the grounds of the springs, with its 180 guest rooms, two dining rooms, opulent ballroom, and large bathhouse that afforded guests the opportunity to soak in the 100-plus-degree mineral springs.

The Bridge Street Cafe features elegant yet earthy dining on the first floor of the restored building. French doors open onto the spacious, covered outdoor dining area overlooking Spring Creek.

The centerpiece of the kitchen is the traditional Italian wood- fired brick oven, faced with vintage recycled bricks from the historic Hot Springs School. The menu makes extensive use of fresh, locally-grown organic vegetables, organic flours and grains, and has a distinctive Italian- Mediterranean flavor.
